Hey guys! The month of January went really fast! Last month, I started changing up my skincare products & routine. My skin tends to get dry since the weather is getting colder. Here are some of the products that I felt helped combat the dryness of my skin and made my make up flawless.
I love using this foot cream every night before I go to sleep. It smells like cake batter & really does a great job of making my feet looking smooth. I apply this immediately after bath and wear socks to lock in the moisture.
When I ran out of my bath & body cream, I saw this on sale & was curious to try it out. I have used Jergens before & really loved the way it hydrated my skin. Since I’m not getting any younger, trying the age defying range was a good choice. Like by previous experience with jergens, this did an amazing job of keeping my skin smooth.
If you’re in a hurry and you want to do a quick skincare, this is the most efficient product for exfoliating. I apply this on a wet face and massage it into my skin, then while massaging, you will see the dead skin cells coming off. After I rinse it off, I can notice immediate brightening on my face and free of blackheads & white heads.
I love using this concealer for my dark circles. This concealer is infused with goji berry & haloxyl. The formula of this product is easy to blend. I find that this great as an under eye concealer compared to the Maybelline Fit me Concealer(which is a good concealer for hiding scars and acne spots). The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the built-in sponge applicator.
I rarely use foundation. I mostly use BB creams or BB cushions, but on days when I need a little more of a coverage, I reach out to this product more compared to my other foundations. This foundation gives me a healthy glow & evens out my complexion. This serum foundation consist of Vitamin enriched fruit extracts like litchi, pomegranate, goji which benefits the condition of your skin. It gives a “My skin, but better” look. It’s easily blendable and does not oxidize.
While it does say it can give you up to 16 hours of coverage, for my combination skin, It only lasted around 4-5 hours. I have to apply a mattifying primer on my T-zone prior to applying the foundation.
I read a lot of good reviews of the Essence Mascara, so I decided to get one & see if it’s really worth the hype. I specifically picked this mascara to see how it will volumize my sparse Asian lashes & I’m really impressed. After curling my lashes, I apply a gentle amount of this mascara & I was surprised to see that It made my lashes look fuller and volumized. It holds the curl of my lashes for a whole day & is truly waterproof. The formula is not wet which I absolutely love.
I will definitely keep a stock of this in my make up stash.
