Hey guys! If you have noticed I haven’t posted any favorites from November to December last year. It’s because I still had a lot of products that I’m still deciding which is better than the other. And mostly I’ve been still using the same kinds of stuff from the previous months. Aside from that, I was really busy from November since it was my birth month, then December was full of Christmas celebrations and gatherings, and lastly, On the first week on January, my sister celebrated her 18th Birthday Debut, which in our culture is pretty much a big deal, where we host a grand party and organize cotillions and what not. Long story short, I really didn’t have enough time to write stuff for the blog.
Anyway, now that I finally made time, Here are my favorite products that I’m happy to share with you.
This is basically a day cream + sunscreen + Skin brighter. It can also work as a primer.
I apply this after my moisturizer. The consistency is a soft creamy texture. It spreads and absorbs into your skin easily. When I use this, I do not need to apply additional sunscreen as I usually do before I apply my primer. It has SPF 35 PA++.
What is the Benefit of using this product?
It provides deep skin hydration, gives a brightening effect which makes the skin look vibrant, anti-aging, wrinkle prevention, and sun protection.
Like the first product mentioned above, I also got this from my previous Korean Skincare haul.
When I am too tired to do the 10 step Korean skincare and just wanna rush to bed, as soon as I’m done washing my face, I apply this overnight sleeping mask and the results are just as amazing when I do my full skincare routine.
I have noticed my skin is plumped & hydrated after I wash my face in the morning. It’s a quick pick me up spa treatment that will refresh your tired skin without paying for luxury treatments. My skin also became brighter and vibrant.
This is one of the best concealers that I have tried so far next to Maybelline’s Fit Me Concealer. The texture of the concealer is creamy and blends easily on the skin. The shade I wear is Light 20.
Sun protection is a must for our skin to avoid discoloration and risks of developing skin cancer. While using sun protection for our face, it is also important to protect our lips from the harmful rays of the sun. I really didn’t think it would make a difference before, but since I am dedicated on taking care of my skin, I had to include it in my skincare routine & makeup.
I was currently using the body shop’s liquid lipstick which I use daily for work. Upon trying out this liquid lipstick, I find that I reach for this lipstick the most. It doesn’t dry out my lips considering that It’s a matte lipstick. It glides smoothly on my lips and one layer is enough to even out the color. It is long lasting as well and easy to remove without getting the pigment stuck on the skin. It’s a better alternative to Lime Crime’s Red Velvet liquid Lipstick which I have been using for 2 years before. It’s very affordable and cruelty-free.
Most of my lipstick collections are liquid. I don’t purchase that much retractable lipsticks since most of them dry out my lips. I heard many good reviews about this lipstick which made me try this one out. This particular shade impressed me. It looks very subtle and is very creamy & buttery plus it smells amazing.
Milani is popularly known for their amazing blushes and later on expanded on creating foundations, concealers, Eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks and setting sprays. I rarely see negative reviews on their products which gives an impression that they are really good at what they’re doing. I have used their blushes before and I loved every shade that I bought. This particular shade though is amazing because not only does it give color to your cheeks, but can also double as a highlight.
This shade is good for everyday wear, or at work. It compliments your face if you are going for a simple or “no-makeup” makeup look.
I was really curious to try this out as I’ve read good reviews on the shopmissa website. I never really use a tool or a sonic brush for cleaning my face. But since it was only $1, Had to try it out. There were no dramatic results, but what I can say is, it acts as a mini massager while you wash your face which helps relax the face muscle’s and ensures the ingredients of your face wash/exfoliator penetrates into your skin. It’s a simple and practical tool to use in your skincare routine.
If you have used any of the products mentioned above, feel free to share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below. Thanks for reading!
